Saturday in first day of October with the clear sky the Twin Ring Motegi Circuit ready for last free practice for the kings. And Valentino Rossi started the race with very confident style to ride and look like the bike already following the instruction from The Doctor, really smooth on the corner and not so much shake on the straight track.
All going like we always show he rode before with the blue bike from Japan. and his result for Free Practice 3 was for 7th place time 1.47.161 with gap +0.999 from the leader Casey Stoner +1.46.162. And Honda really dominated on this track Big Four all for Honda riders Andrea Dovizioso 2nd with gap +0.139 from the leader , Dani Pedrosa 3rd with gap +0.267 and Marco Simoncelli 4th + 0.430 and for fifth place for Yamaha Racing Team Jorge Lorenzo with time 1.46.809 and Ben Spies very good even with less heathly for 6th place. The single rider from Suzuki Alvaro Bautista for this season always close with Valentino Rossi, he finished at 8th and following with Nicky Hayden for 9th. And for complete big ten was Randy De Puniet.
The focus of Valentino Rossi and team is determined to close the gap. And the result started to show after fourteen rounds through with very hard for this team. Valentino Rossi starting to control the bike in every corner he pass in the Qualifying, almost half time of the QP he's at 6th place and than down and stuck at 9 or 11, but in the last minute he's made the incredible improvement with the bike, he run very fast and jump to 6th place but at the same time the Italian rider Marco Simoncelli stole the second row and forced him to start from 7th with time 1.46.467. And Valentino Rossi wishes for the weather when race is dry.
His team mate Nicky Hayden after very strong on Friday Practice weren't able to continue the good result. He will start the Motegi race at Sunday Oct 2th for 10th, although the time he got not too far with Valentino Rossi, but he not happy enough with the bike performant but he will try the best start for the good race tomorrow.
And the pole position like always for Casey Stoner with time 1.45.267 just break the last record from Jorge Lorenzo last year. An for Casey it was his 10th time for pole and new record too for MotoGP, and continue with Jorge Lorenzo for 2nd and Andrea Dovizioso for 3rd. And his team mate Dani Pedrosa need to start from 2nd row for 4th following by Ben Spies for 5th and complete the 2nd row with Marco Simoncelli.
Tomorrow will be big day for Japan Grand Prix the race must be unpredictable with many surprise we will meet hope so. No boring race anymore but lot of battle will be interesting. Go forward Valentino Rossi, the time will come for you soon slowly but sure you will get it back.
