End of August will turn back to America and after Laguna Seca now Indianapolis will have the big event of MotoGP racing. This circuit was just home event for MotoGP on 2008 with the length of the track is 4216 meters with 16 corners and at the first time Valentino Rossi noted the new history to be the fastest on this circuit which was greeted with a storm that makes the victory not forgotten.
This circuit have a great memory not only for Valentino Rossi, but for Nicky Hayden also. it will be his home race because only need a couple hours to arrived at Indy circuit from his home in Owensboro. And he is the only one rider got two podium since 2008, for 2nd position with Honda behind Valentino Rossi in 2008 and finish at 3rd position with his Ducati, behind Alex de Angelis for 2nd and Jorge Lorenzo for 1st position. But he only finished at 6th for 2010 because he lost his knee slider and made him need a long time for a left hand track.
For Ducati team this circuit will be the beginning after so many struggling of this season, and they only able to achieved two podium, the first one from Nicky Hayden for 3rd place and the second one Valentino Rossi at 3rd place also. And After Brno race at August 14th Valentino Rossi have a good improvement from the bike he developed, he was able to finish at 6th place with the gap with the leader more closer about 12 second, and it was the closed gap he has this year. And after he did the test for Brno he rode so many laps almost 75 laps and did a lot of change and modification, he did all and make his team very busy at the test was only to make his fans happy and to show to his fans, Don't ever stop to trying and we will find the best result after.
For this year Nicky Hayden have a first chance to trying a new surface of Indy track and he just said the surface was very smooth.Beside of the new surface, Indianapolis will be the first place for Nicky Hayden will riding completely his new bike GP11.1 after he got a good time in Brno Test and positive feeling with this new bike and from his side the new gearbox will help coming on to the front straightaway with acceleration.
And for this time Nicky really excited to ride in this circuit and he will get some good way for the result for sure, he is very grateful with all his team made for him, for all things they did to make the bike like he wants. And he was very nice to talk about how he loves with racing sport and he is very understand with all the risk in this sport and he said "All risk can happen and we can't live in a shell and we all never know when is our time or not so better try to enjoy everyday and make the most of it"
And will be interesting when we talk about what Valentino Rossi will be doing again in this race, after so many modification he did for his bike. And he is still difficult to understand about the problem at front of the bike. but for the rear end and the engine he is sure it will be better and more stable and he can feel will be good like he rode his Yamaha before. And another situation make him uncomfortable is he doesn't like very much this circuit because too bumpy but after the new surface maybe will be better. And Valentino Rossi explained for Indy he will use the same setup he used lat time at Brno. From his point of view the Brno test will help him much to understand better about GP11,1 and he keep his eyes to find a best one for the next season, because he said this year its not enough time to make him get a good position for World Championship standing, but he want the real Ducati will be ready on November in Valencia for 1000cc season.
