Cal Crutchlow, Lucy and Shaina 2015

Motogp  is not only limited to adult who like to ride a bike, but also influence so much to the little girl Shaina who will reach 10 years old on December 8th. She is enthusiast with this sport since she was very young. And the one she so adore is the British rider Cal Crutchlow. 

Shaina herself first time get in touch with Cal Crutchlow about 3 years ago  and she got the lucky to able to had a direct conversation with Crutchlow and also with Lucy (At the time is girl friend of him). And due Crutchlow so impressed with the braveness of Shaina so he gave his racing gloves to her, She could not believe that moment and wore the glove for the rest of that day. When the light of paddock were already on and she still walking around with her hands in the air, wearing these big motorcycle gloves. Really unforgettable moment for the first time met with her idol.

But the happiness for her not only stop at that moment, this year she got a chance to meet again with Cal Crutchlow. When she asked him if he could give her an interview because at her school she just finish the lesson ‘how to doing interview’ a The elementary school girl got very excited, prepared like a professional and wrote down her questions on her tablet, that she will not forget any of them. 

nd she want to practice that, the British agreed in very friendly way.

So the big moment came: Cal´s wife Lucy asked Shaina to come into Cal´s room behind the pit garage at the Sepang circuit. She entered, and Cal gave her a warm welcome. They sat down and Shaina got a one-to-one interview, not much ordinary people get the very precocious moment like this.

Shaina Salvia A.S.:

(With serious face and little nervous she started to ask) Before you came to MotoGP, you were riding World Superbike, while most other riders from MotoGP go to World Superbike before they retire. Do you have any plan to go back to World Superbike in the future?

Cal Crutchlow:

(The voice so deep and calm) I don’t have a plan to go back to World Superbike again in the future. But only because I ride now in MotoGP and I think when I will finish my career, I will finish it in MotoGP. But this does not mean I would not be interested to go to World Superbike, but I don’t think I´m going to ride there again. I think in the end I will finish my career here but I don’t know when. Maybe in one year, maybe in ten years. As soon as I stop to love racing bikes I can go home and love Lucy (his wife) more (laughs)

Shaina Salvia A.S.:

You ride the Honda almost one year, are you happy with your riding?

Cal Crutchlow:

I’m happy and not happy, both.  I’m happy because the first half of the year was ok, and in the last few races it got a little better.  We had some bad races and some bad luck, so the championship position is not really good, but I think I´m still fast enough. With the Honda it is really difficult to learn the bike. So next year maybe I am a lot faster again.

Shaina Salvia A.S.:

You crashed with your team mate Jack Miller in Silverstone. How you can smile again with him, as sometimes in my school, if my friends disappoint me, it’s difficult for me to smile with them again (Shaina asks very shy but in curious way).

Cal Crutchlow:

 (Laughs) You have to be a good person and jack is not a bad person. He didn’t mean to make a mistake, he didn’t mean to do it on purpose. He didn’t want to crash and he didn’t want to hit me either.  So we both crashed and I said I´m really sorry for the crash. And he said he is really sorry to hit me. I said it’s ok, because I was angry with him for one minute and then calmed down. It is ok, because I have crashed into people before as well. And if I do it again and I’m still angry with Jack, they might be angry with me. You need to have forgiveness and I forgive him. But if he does it again, there is big trouble! No I’m only joking (laughs loud).

Shaina Salvia A.S.:

How did you get idea to choose 35 as your racing number?

Cal Crutchlow:

Because I had the number 5 before, in the first 3 years racing. Then I couldn’t have the 5 anymore, so I put the 3 ahead. But it’s really good, because my favorite number is 5 and Lucy´s is 3. So it works perfect (looks lovely to his wife and smiles).

Shaina Salvia A.S.:

Is it easy to be a rider (looking to CC with an amazed face)?

Cal Crutchlow:

I think it’s easy sometimes, but people think it’s a lot easier than it is. We have to work hard. I think we have a job that we all love and we are very privileged. It’s a really special job to have, to be the rider. But it’s also difficult at times, because you´re never at home, you´re always travelling. And when we travel the world we don’t see so much. We don´t go to visit places, because we need to go to the circuit, the hotel and the airport, but we don´t get to see so much of the world. So it´s honestly a really tough job, but it´s job we love and we´ll never change. I think all riders feel the same. (in grateful voice)

Shaina Salvia A.S. :

In Malaysia your bike had a different color. Will this remain for the future, or was this just for Malaysia?

Cal Crutchlow:

It was just for Malaysia. But I hope it will remain, because it looks really good.

Shaina Salvia A.S. :

What is your target in every race?

Cal Crutchlow:

To win (laughs with serious face). Always the target is to win, but we all know is very difficult for me to win. Maybe I will be 10^th, maybe I will be 5^th. But we always have to aim to win.

Shaina Salvia A.S. :

You´re very welcome.

Shaina had the gloves in her bag, she got from him 3 years ago. “Could you sign them for me, please?” she asked. 

Cal took a pen and said: “Gloves are really difficult to sign, as they have so many edges.” But he found a spot on the palm that was wide enough for his much desired signature and his #35.  “I still remember when I gave them to you. Great you still have them.” Then he asked: “Do you want a photo with the bike?” He invited her into the garage, and he posed with her in front of the Honda RC 213 V. 

Once again, she got another experience to remember for life. “Thank you very much, Cal Crutchlow. You´re my hero!”

Sometimes life is about if you are brave enough to have a dream, because every little dream we have can be a motivation for us to keep working and make it come true. And you need to make sure that your dreams are inspiring for others.

We really appreciate the warm heart of Cal Crutchlow. In his busy time he was so kind to take some minutes for the little girl and he was very wise and patient. Also thanks to his wife Lucy who is always humble to Shaina even though she is already the 1^st lady of the famous British rider.

Unpredictable Misano Podium 2015 and the Rossi effect

The Circuit of Marco Simoncelli San Marino on September 13^th 2015 flooded by the spectacular yellow color of Valentino Rossi fans. No wonder because this circuit are very near with Valentino Rossi heaven in Tavullia but also it’s not surprise because in every circuit of MotoGP always the consistent colors was Yellow.

All riders very ready to start this race even though before start of the race the sky was very cloudy and some water already dripping even only little. But finally race started with the dry race, Jorge Lorenzo and Marc Marquez did a very good start and suddenly lead the race for about first 2 lap and Valentino Rossi tried to find his rhythm and at lap 3 Valentino Rossi able to make the gap closer after he set the fastest lap with 1.33.894. And all the spectators cheer for the legend. Only few laps after that rain starting fall down and make the track in wet condition and all the riders decided to come to pit and change the bike for wet condition. Almost all riders changed the bike only Bradley Smith still used the same bike even struggling and down to 20^th position. But his brave speculation finally made a very good result for him and gave him 2^nd position at the end on the Misano GP.

Lap by lap valentine getting strong and strong and able to overtake Marc Marquez on lap 11 and four laps after that with the elegance way he just got the position of Jorge Lorenzo and lead the race. But unfortunately rain fall getting heavy and heavy so all the team suggest riders to change and swipe the bike. Almost all riders following to swipe the bike only Bradley Smith still used the same bike even struggling and down to 20^th position. But his brave speculation finally made a very good result for him and gave him 2^nd position at the end on the Misano GP.

Back to three riders in front Jorge Lorenzo, Marc Marquez and Valentino Rossi trying hard to adapting soon with the soft tyre and make a good grip with the track and as everybody know Valentino Rossi with all experience he has very great at tricky track condition and because of that he able to overtook Marc Marque on Lap 11 and 4 laps after that with the elegance overtook he got the position of Jorge Lorenzo and lead the race. But unfortunately the weather change so fast and the track dry out very fast too, so all the team give direction to back to pit again and change the bike for 2^nd times.

Almost all riders change the bike but Trio leader still stay with the wet bike until Marc Marquez be the first of them back to pit and change the bike and it’s really good decision of him to change the bike at that time so he able to push the bike with the enough laps he has and be in the first position until the end of Misano GP.

So where is Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo? Yes, duo Yamaha with all the braveness and strategy on their own head still pushing with wet tyre in the dry track and for sure made the grip lose and reduce their speed. Everybody wonder why both of them not back and change the bike soon. 7 laps to go Jorge change the bike while Valentino Rossi still on the way with his soft tyres.

But unlucky for Jorge Lorenzo when he tried to push the bike and get back his front position, he crashed out at turn 15 and can’t continue the race and need to stop without any point. While Valentino Rossi on 4 laps to go finally decided to change the bike but the laps was to little for him to be able to comeback to top position and need to be happy to finish 5^th on his home race. But he doesn’t too much sad because he still be the lead of the world champion and the gap point with the runner up was 23. Which is good at least can make him take a breath little bit until Aragon race.

Some of peoples said Valentino Rossi was failed on Misano Race to only finish 5^th because he late to take decision to change the bike, but sometime we need to thinking anti mindstream from others, and look what the goal we want to achieve. His goal is to make his position safe in world standing and he made it, so nothing wrong from his decision then.

Sometime life is about take a risk, when you only brave to life in the same rule as other, you will never able to see your own life. Your life is like an empty paper, only yourself can draw it with what color you want. So valentino Rossi already created his own picture in Misano.  And also like us as Valentino Rossi fans we already draw the paper with Yellow color

Penalty 1 point for Valentino Rossi at Misano GP

The incident between Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo at the last second of Qualifying made Valentino Rossi need to except 1 point penalty at his home race. So Valentino Rossi need to had that because the race direction believe Valentino Rossi was riding slowly and close the racing  line, thereby disturbing another rider on the fast lap. For information this penalty also given to Harnendez due he did the same at Q1 but because it's still the first warning so position for tomorrow race was unchanged. 

Lot of people are unhappy with the decision of race direction about this penalty but rule is rule need to be allow for every riders whose joint there.

Especially after finally Jorge Lorenzo said that he think he on the fast time but after he look the data, he was not that fast, and he also felt that it can happened sometime.

Valentino Rossi accepted it with big heart and make sure it will not makes his mental down but he will look it as motivation for tomorrow race.

Nothing he put down, he just smile and said "I already said sorry and yes it's my mistake but I didn't see and he still on pole anyway so should no problem and also my position for tomorrow still the same."

The one that always make Valentino Rossi so lovable is because he never feel arogan with who he is. We all know he is the best rider in the world and because of him, this sport so unbelievable interesting but he always keep his humble in the front. And it one of thousand reason we love him.

Valentino Rossi’s Epic Win in Silverstone

The result of MotoGP Silverstone were really unpredictable. Marc Marquez, Jorge Lorenzo, Dani Pedrosa whose strong in every practice and predicted to be on podium, just failed due the challenging race condition. Started from warming up practice on Sunday Morning August 30^th 2015 rain was down and all the prediction turn back to the strong of Valentino, he was fastest on the wet warming up following by Danillo Petrucci and Marc Marquez.

So after that the guessing who will win the British GP turning to Valentino Rossi and also put Danillo Petrucci on the game, because even he only on open class bike, everybody knew how strong Ducati in the wet.

And the prediction about Valentino will lead getting strong when a minute before the GP start, rain was falling down again and force race direction to delayed the start of MotoGP and change condition of the race be a wet  race and reduce the lap to be 20 laps.

All riders back to the grid after the delayed and doing 1 lap for warm up before finally race start with the really wet condition. Valentino doing very good from the 1^st lap he start the race, he so confident with the bike and full of passion in high level of experience. So tidy passed and overtake Marc Marquez and Jorge Lorenzo and leading the race with did some of fastest lap. Really clear his experience was the reason made him so stable and untouchable.

Marc Marquez also strong and tried hard to make a gap more close with Valentino and unfortunately he did not count the risk of  the bike  limit on the wet track, he was crash at Lap 13  due his own failure of counting. And Jorge Lorenzo not also able to catch Valentino due the fogging on his helmet visor and make him to be happy finished at 4^th place.

The man of the day was Danillo Petrucci, with his Ducati open bike, he strong enough and almost close the gap with Valentino Rossi in the last lap. But as he knew what he achieve was already out from his prediction so he just enjoy the moment and finished at 2^nd place with very big applause from all spectator there. And he also made the very honest comment about how the race went. “I still not believe that in front of him was Valentino and I also never imagine can able to passed Jorge Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa, it was only happen when he played in Play Station, but today is real and I can’t stop laughing and laughing. I didn’t realize. I still don’t.”

Life is mystery, you will never know what the next day will bring. Don’t be confuse, don’t stop all the dream. Keep trying, moving and believing. Life with your fight and don’t make other put your spirit down, just believe with yourself and do the best you can.

Spectacular Assen Victory Of Valentino Rossi - MotoGP 2015

Every time Dutch Grand Prix comes, every MotoGP lovers always be excited and hoping all the best for Valentino Rossi, as we knew Assen Circuit is the best track for Yamaha and as we called 2015 is The Year of The GOAT where Valentino Rossi is really strong  in every race and able to reach podiums,  be the lead of world standing.

And all the prediction were getting strong and stronger after we looked the result of FP1 and FP3 when Valentino Rossi was the fastest and made him more confident after finally he can start from pole position since the last time in Valencia 2014. As everybody knew since MotoGP have a new rule in Qualifying Practice always make Valentino struggling to be able stand in pole position or at least in front row. 

But in Assen 2015 the situation were different in the last second of QP,  he was able breaking the new record with 1.32.627, he mentioned his pole position in Assen always special for him due  the atmosphere of spectator were amazing and it always bring special feeling when finally you can get pole position, and he also mentioned why it was so special because the pole position for him was not come too often. That is  always a Valentino Rossi trade mark,  humble, honest and true.

And Saturday July 27, 2015 The Motul TT Assen has arrived and without any doubt one of the best race of MotoGP was happened there. Valentino Rossi the 9th times World Champion who started the race from the pole position always control the track following by Marc Marquez the last year World Champion. Only Marc Marquez was able to ride the bike very close with the leader and in many corner Marc with the Medium and Medium tyres getting more strong and stable after half laps they did while Valentino Rossi with his Soft and Medium tyres in some condition lost his front but Valentino Rossi was quite confident as his bike was so smooth and fast with a consistent speed. Valentino Rossi was  trying to always make a gap with Marc Marquez.

And on 7 laps to go from the finish line, we can't deny again with the smooth way Marc Marquez overtake Valentino Rossi, leading for a while, Valentino Rossi watching and following to find the best time to take over again and stole the 1st place. And we can't call him Valentino Rossi if he give up, finally 3 laps to go was the best time for him to overtaking again with the classic over took and "Zappp" he suddenly make a gap and make his 1st place safe but Marc Marquez also was not only waiting he tried everything to take back and his tried to the limit on last chicane to grab the 1st place and touch Valentino Rossi a little bit as Marc came a little bit late . And that happening  finally we have to admit again and again the high level of Valentino Rossi.

Very sure if the rider who get maneuvered by Marc Marquez was not Valentino Rossi, they simply will be crashed because with the high speed on the corner suddenly  run to the gravel was very difficult to control where the bike will run, but Valentino Rossi with all his passion and love with everything related with engine, he can handle and make the difficult thing be a spectacular thing with smart way. Marc Marquez did not give him any option on that situation he need to cut and run straight through the gravel. And with his hobby to the motocross he can control the bike on the deep of the gravel and back to the track and he looked back to Marc Marquez just to know the position of Marc to be more carefull what he need to do on the finish line. when he saw Marc Marquez slowed down so he was able to made a wheelie for around 97000 spectators at Assen and for a million of fans who was watching him on Television around the world.

After waiting so long finally we can see again the unique and natural celebration from the one and only Valentino Rossi, he deserved to celebrate it and all the fans deserved to see again the amuse celebration.

But after the race some uncertain situation were around, Marc Marquez felt that he was the one who  wins due to his opinion he was in the inside and put the bike carefully to not making any danger movement and for him, he knew cutting the corner are illegal movement. It is true if you cut the corner without any reason it must be illegal and true to get penalty but if you were on  a situation that you don't even having any other way you can do it with a risk you will crashed and lose the grip on the gravel and lose the finish line in front of your eyes.

The race direction not let the uncomfortable situation continue so Marc and Valentino were called by race direction after the Official Post race Press Conference and make both of them watching again the video record from any position they have and with helicopter camera, finally both of them can realized and accepted the result in peace way. Because it was seen clearly that Valentino Rossi was ahead of Marc and Valentino Rossi had the right to the line. And MotoGP Race Director Mike Webb also explain  the position of Valentino Rossi when that happened "As they reached the apex of the right-hand turn Marc touched Valentino, which made Valentino go wide. So that's a racing incident. It's unavoidable." also Mike Webb add again , “The two balancing things are that it was a hard pass with contact and you are not allowed to push another rider off the line. But the end result was that they entered and exited that series of corners in the same position. No advantage gained. End of story.” 

So all was clear the last effort from Marc Marquez and made Valentino Rossi got his Amazing Win in Assen due to his movement to the gravel is Racing Incident, nothing more and case close.

Spectacular victory of Valentino Rossi who made his position strong on this year Championship and the lesson we can take from this amazing battle between Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez is "Sometime when we are in emergency situation we need to make a choice, give up with it or take a fast decision and be the winner in brilliant way"
