MotoGP Sepang 2012 for Marco Simoncelli

After very great trip for Motegi GP, I got a chance to watch live MotoGP Sepang 2012 for couple times. But this time is a bit different felt in here. It was make us remember with the very talented rider who has very lovely attitude who passed away on this circuit last year.

Even the weather can feel the deep sorrow; rains came and make the situation of this event so touching. On Thursday all MotoGP peoples paid attribute to Marco Simoncelli on turn 11 the place of very tragic moment for the great rider from Italy Marco Simoncelli who more lovable we called him SuperSic.

Throughout this event from Friday Practice until Sunday race, rain always come to accompanied us. And lot of riders got crashed from Moto3 also MotoGP. Track was very slippery and wet. 

And the surprise come from Moto2 championship, all the riders can got the podium is truly not one we previously thought, after two time crashed for Marc Marqueze forcing him to stop the race and delay getting the title of Moto2 World Champion 2012 at Sepang, and Iannone who struggle a lot with this wet condition only able to finished at 6th place. But very elegant win for Alex De Angelis for finished first place a head of Anthony West and Gino Rea (One story special for Gino Rea)

And for the Malaysian spectators was very proud to know their rider Zulfahmi Khairuddin can get the 2nd podium on his birthday, what a special birthday gift ever for him.

And for MotoGP championship we can say it's good to watch Dani Pedrosa for one more time win the battle with Jorge Lorenzo after the red flag due the heavy rain there and seven laps left can't continue because the universe wants it. And it's very special win for Dani because it was the first time he can win on the wet condition. 

Ducati team had a very positive race on this circuit after started from fourth row Valentino Rossi can jump on 5th position and had a good battle with Dovizioso and Casey Stoner. And it was give us all his fans some chance to saw our hero back on the podium, but unlucky on the turn 7 he running out from the track but still grateful he can still ride on the track, not got crashed like the other riders Bradl, Dovizioso and Spies (who made Spies need to do surgery on his shoulder and close the fight on this year). After back to 9th place Valentino Rossi fighting back and finally he can reach 5th place. And Nicky Hayden for 4th place.

I just keep thinking MotoGP 2012 exactly more entertain than MotoGP 2011 but still too much boring. But we can hope for next year when he come back again to his baby M1 and fight on the place he should be and give us some interesting battle again.

Valentino Rossi Misano 2012 Podium for Marco Simoncelli

The Misano GP just finished with very dramatically happened since the start of the race until the end of the race. At first the race forced to stop due the technical engine of Karel Abraham and some other said the starting light didn't function as well as it must to be.

And due of that little incident, all rider need to do warm up lap for one more time, and the drama continue but for this time come for Dani Pedrosa, he look got trouble on his engine and need to start from the back of the grid, but the bad luck not stop until that after force hard to catch up the other riders, he got crashed but this time not because his own engine but his back  wheel touched by Hector Barbera, and make both of riders crashed in the first lap. Really sad to look it happened when he was very close to get point by point to be World Champion 2012. Always something happened to stop it and always not came from himself. I'm not his huge fan but too look like this really make me sad and unhappy.

While that happened Lorenzo lead the race and keep it until finish line and one again make him strong on world standing to get his 2nd MotoGP World Champion 2012. But the one make all MotoGP lover extremely happy is Valentino Rossi. With all the charisma he has, he ride the bike very comfort even Stefan Bradly following tightly from behind. While they all try the best lap by lap, at the moment on lap 5, Cal Crutchlow crashed and out from his 5th place and he look hurtt with his leg but at the end of the race he on his official twitter account just said it will ok and will try again at Aragon.

And Valentino Rossi with his new frame and swing arm more focus and strong on his 2nd position, while the battle happened for 3rd place between Stefan Bradl, Alvaro Bautista and Andrea Dovizioso. But as we know Misano GP is MarcoGP #SuperSic, so believe or not, the power of him just come to push Alvaro Bautista's bike and make him can all out and get the 3rd place after did some battle against Andrea Dovizioso with a gap only +0.003 second (I don't know actually how to count so accurate like that)

And the real champion is of course Valentino Rossi, we know lot of riders can finish on 2nd place but when it was Valentino Rossi after very difficult season for him with that bike, it's really something amazing for all crowds about 45.000 people at Misano circuit and for millions of fans on around the world. He just show to us what the meaning of racing, what the meaning of never give up. Just clearly in every dark we will find the light. 

Really precious podium, Valentino Rossi finished 2nd place as Marco Simoncelli best friend and Alvaro Bautista for 3rd place as Marco Simoncelli Team.

Fastest the movie on DVD, Appreciate it Mark Neale

These has been quite long after the Fastest movie was released at the end of September 2011 in Europe. And at the time me who live in Indonesia only able to watch trailer on the Internet. No chance to watch in the cinema like all on there because in my country this movie not released on the cinema.

In January 2012, I got my first contact with Mark Neale on one of social media, he was very kind person after reading my blog he sent me message and said "want to send me a small gift". I'm very happy with it, but after waiting for so long, month by month nothing come to my address. But doesn't  make me sad because I know for sure how busy him he is being film director and as we know he has done many great documentary movies, some of his movies as Faster (2003),  The Doctor, the Tornado and the Kentucky Kid (2006), Charge, Zero Emissions / maximum speed (2011).

And today June 8th 2012, Mr. Postman has knocked my door and brought one envelope from California. It's really amazing for me, I got the FASTEST dvd movie directly  from Mark Neale complete with his autograph on the cover. He can said to me "it was the small gift" but for me " it was a great gift I never imagine before".

Really Appreciate to Mark Neale and like always you said wit me "ALL THE BEST". Thank you very much I watched the movie and nothing I can say then "Brilliant Movie, by Brilliant Director, featuring Brilliant Riders"

REST IN PEACE MARCO SIMONCELLI

On October 23 2011 the date of Shell Advance Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix at Sepang circuit. All Free Practices from Friday and Qualifying on Saturday all went very well just like usually happened in every season. All position for start already done, three Repsol Honda got the first row Dani Pedrosa for pole, Casey Stoner 2nd and Andrea Dovizioso. Following by second row was Collin Edwards, Marco Simoncelli and Nicky Hayden. and the third row for Hiroshi Aoyama will be his second last in MotoGP event after he decided to move to Super Bike, Alvaro Bautista for 8th and the Famous rider Valentino Rossi for 9th closing the third row of the start.

And Warming Up Practice   went very well nothing different, all MotoGP fans  on main grandstand support their favorite riders, lot of flags with number of their riders and the safety car already checked the circuit for making sure all will going ok for start the race and than the race started.

In the minute all MotoGP fans cheering for their riders and Valentino Rossi after start at 9th can control his bike very well and really close to Colin Edwards for take 7th place and at the corner 11 unfortunate accident happened very fast, all audience just said "ouch" and "zappp" all  suddenly silent after because one rider lay in track after the accident.

All came very fast and  when the big screen in front of us said Marco Simoncelli got big crashed and run to the hospital with Helicopter. The race was delayed for awhile and all the riders back to the paddock. All audience were waiting for the news about Super Sic, all wishing some good news about him. And suddenly race was canceled without any news. Some audience react can't received the cancellation without clear reason, they started throwing some bottles to the track, my reaction was yelling to those people "Please stop it, please respect for Simon" and than I'm running to the paddock, passing the tunnel and can't controlled my self with tears, and when I arrived at the paddock with cold and sad situation, the announcement came that "Marco Simoncelli the young and talented rider from Italy with number 58 had passed away, the hard trauma in his neck made him can't survive to make him still here with us at 4.56 pm Local time he leave us forever".

All paddock was very silent, sad and frozen. His Father just walking very sadly and looks empty. All media people crying so all the riders also, and all MotoGP fans sadly accepted and gradually leaving the circuit.. Really unbelievable Super Sic was very fast leaving us. With all his unique style in every race he did, with his smile, his humor, his spirit, his braveness all never forgotten.

I met him couple of times since 2009 with good memories, as I want take a pic and want have his autograph, he always humble and did with his smile. When I tried to talk a bit with him about his schedule when he will going home and etc, he always answer just like I'm the one of them, like I'm his old friend. And on Friday Oct 21, 2011 at the paddock in front of Ducati box, I talked with Pernat about how I'm adored with his talent  and  how humble he is and I can saw clearly how proud Pernat with Marco Simoncelli. Yes he's the young talented with all unique styled he had, always made us waiting the race.

Really touching and always make me remember with what he did to me. I'm only ordinary fans not a huge fans but he treated me very well just like I'm his friends. And what he had done this year in every race in the boring season he always give to us something incredible and make us very love with motor sport. 

His funeral at October 27th 2011 at Coriano at 15.00 Local Time and 20.00 for Indonesia time. We all pray for him may he Rest In Peace.

I would like to give my deepest condolences for Marco Simoncelli Family, Team, and all Fans.
