Lot of thing happened on this year and the strong team almost fixed for Honda Racing team with Casey Stoner very strong be a leader and following by Yamaha Racing team with Jorge Lorenzo for second place for the World Champion standing.
And the famous riders Valentino Rossi still fighting to understand and find the setting to make him comfort and confident to riding his Ducati.
He trying everything to make the bike easy to ride and he doing some modification to made the bike more friendly at the corner. First time he change the bike from GP11 to be GP11.1 and at the first he rode this bike at Aseen he said he felt confident enough with the bike better than the old one, but after that he still find the problem at front and make him can't ride fast because he didn't find the confident to push his bike. But we can't called him Valentino Rossi, if he just waiting and sitting, like he said he only rider but he not only ride, he need to give some input to his team, to tell what the strength and the weakness of the bike, and working together to make some improve, and if the time for this year didn't enough to develop his bike, we still can do this season for trial and test the bike for the next season, and Vale hope the real Ducati will be ready for Valencia 2011.
And Valentino Rossi not only talked to make his fans calm down, but he really did it, and now the alumunium frame will ready to use at Aragon, after he did the test team for 2012 bike at Mugello Sept 8th and he rode total 82 laps and he very happy what the result he got with the new chassis and new electronic for GP12. Finally the time is come, Valentino Rossi will use Alumunium Frame for Aragon and it more complete base on the result in 2010 Ducati team got achievement for both of rider Casey Stoner and Nicky Hayden, they got podium at Aragon. So no wonder when Valentino Rossi put the expectation more high than usual with his bike that is still under development.
The Free Practice 1 came and Valentino Rossi for the first time riding his GP11.1++ with alumunium frame under the warm sunshine (after did some first laps with the old bike) and when he decided to run with the new bike he's felt the improve with the bike and he felt more comfort to ride. he only able to finished at 8th with gap +1.395 with the fastest Dani Pedrosa. Valentino Rossi only be the third fast rider from Ducati bike, the fastest of Ducati for this practice was Randy de Puniet with his old bike GP11 and the second fastest Ducati was Nicky Hayden with GP11.1. So we still can't saw the big improvement of the bike, but when Valentino said he felt more comfort for me is the important thing.
Too bad for all riders especially for Valentino Rossi becasue he can't trying the setting of his bike for Free Practice 2, because the Practice was canceled due to an electronic shortage at the ultra modern circuit. but he still can trying his bike tomorrow at Free Practice 3, even its will be different because totally he will lost 15 minutes for the practice and it will be only one round.
And Valentino Rossi prediction for the race is still very difficult to know what will happened when the race come, after he did Free Practice 1 because the track was very dirty and he said the problem of this circuit is the rear grip and make the bike slide much. So he can understand well about the front felt, but he always has his spirit for trying again and again. And the great thing he always said he know that's a lot of his fans waiting him to fight on front row but he very sure, the true fans will understand what he did and build a new bike to easy to ride for all riders is very challenging.
You're right Valentino Rossi, what you did is the best thing for us, you very brave and humble to put you like in the behind of the other riders but the trully is what you did is the front of the other riders. Riding and Developing make me loving you more and more.
